The Opportunity

Avantor is looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our customer in Slough. As a Business Support Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented and driven team, providing administrative and organizational support to help keep our services running smoothly. If you have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for the life science industry, let`s talk!

To ensure work is performed in adherence with company and client policies, procedures, standards, SOP's and H&S legislation and statutory regulations in order to maintain the integrity of operational activities and safety of all employees' and to provide a high-quality service to our customer.

What We're Looking For


* Experience: We will consider candidates from all fields with strong coordination and administration background. If you have knowledge/experience in the laboratory and decided to move to an office-based role or have interest/knowledge of business support and would like to expand on it in a life science industry, apply!

How you'll thrive and create an impact

* Project support for Services Managers
* Helping organize timelines, resources, and team collaboration.
* Managing records, tracking project progress, and preparing reports.
* Facilitating interactions between teams, clients, and leadership.
* Evaluating workplace risks, ensuring safety measures are in place, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
* Updating and optimizing procedural documentation to enhance clarity and operational efficiency.
* Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices.
* Assessing financial expenditures, reducing waste, and finding ways to optimize resources without compromising quality.
* Supplier exhibition arranging and hosting
* Service cover in Stores and Lab Services department
