We are excited to announce the Vacant position within the Trauma and Orthopaedics ward D3 in Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Nurse with extensive experience and knowledge in Orthopaedic nursing and proven leadership skills.
The delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate care is essential to our organisation.
Main duties of the job
1. Leadership – the successful candidate must be a leader who will promote excellence within the inpatient ward and ambulatory unit and who is willing to go the extra mile to achieve this.

10. To work collaboratively with other HHFT ward.

Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria
11. Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Management and Leadership, or equivalent e.g. NVQ Level 3
12. Degree level education or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study, or employment experience
13. Professional UK registration e.g. NMC, HCPC
Desirable criteria
14. A Masters’ degree or evidence of working towards a Masters’ degree in the relevant field
15. Project management learning and/or development
16. Communication skills learning and/or development
Experience & Knowledge
Essential criteria
17. Evidence of significant post registration clinical work experience
18. Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) clearly recorded for professional profile
