Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our growth initiatives and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the digital marketing sector, enthusiasm, and a deep understanding of digital market ing and current trends. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and enhance market presence. Exploration: Work to understand Equimedia’s proposition, services and expertise and how they align with emerging trends. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, competitor activities, and potential growth areas. Proposition development : Identify innovative ways to position the agency and its services in a crowded market. Client Acquisition: Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities through networking, industry events and partnerships. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including colleagues, clients, prospective clients, and industry influencers. Collaboration: Work closely with our team to create compelling proposals for prospective clients and ensure a successful on-boarding and handover of new clients. Reporting: Monitor and report on business development performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications and skills : Proven experience in business development, preferably in the digital marketing industry. Excellent at prospecting and generating new business opportunities. Strong network of industry contacts and a solid understanding of digital marketing trends and technologies. In-depth understanding of digital marketing and emerging trends in the digital landscape. Excellent written and in person communication skills, capable of developing compelling business propositions, leading pitches and with great presentation skills. Proficient in negotiating contract terms t o ensure we build mutually beneficial client relationships. Results-driven, self-motivated and tenacious approach to meeting and exceeding targets and KPI’s. Great active listener and capable of adapting style to suit an audience. Capable of managing m ultiple projects simultaneously. Experienced at using Hubspot. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
