Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Special Purpose Equipment / Automation
Are you a driven and creative Mechanical Engineer looking to kick-start your career in automation? We are an established engineering business specialising in the design and manufacture of special purpose equipment for a range of major blue-chip clients, and were looking for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic engineering environment. Youll be involved in the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to manufacture and delivery, working closely with clients to understand their requirements. Youll also have the chance to be customer-facing, providing solutions and technical guidance, as well as getting hands-on with prototyping and testing.
Requirements of a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer:
* BSc or MEng in Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or above)
* Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D CAD design)
* Strong interest in automation, machinery, and special purpose equipment
* Excellent communication skills and confident working in a client-facing environment
* Enthusiasm for hands-on engineering and problem-solving
