Role: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)\n\nLocation: Hillingdon \n\nStart Date: As soon as possible\n\nSalary: £90 - £120 per day\n\nSupport Learning Excellence as an HLTA in Hillingdon \n\nGSL Education is currently seeking a number of dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our client schools in Hillingdon. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the learning and development of students.\n\nAs an HLTA, your responsibilities will include:\n\nLeading and supervising classroom activities under the guidance of the teacher.\nSupporting small group and individual instruction to meet the needs of students.\nAssisting with the planning and preparation of lessons and resources.\nProviding feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior.\nImplementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.\nCovering classes in the absence of the teacher when required.\n\nCandidate Qualifications and Attributes:\n\nPrevious experience as an HLTA or a strong teaching assistant with the desire to progress.\nLevel 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.\nA good understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching methods.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nThe ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to the overall success of the school.\nDedication to supporting the academic and personal development of students.\n\nYou must be in possession of an enhanced child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.\n\nGSL Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
