The role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial lawyer to join euNetworks' legal team as Senior Legal Counsel. Reporting into the senior legal leadership team, you will take ownership of complex commercial contracting across the business, supporting some of their most strategic customer and supplier relationships. The role offers exposure to major global clients including Microsoft, Amazon, BT, Goldman Sachs and SpaceX, alongside involvement in network expansion projects and broader business initiatives.
Key responsibilities
* Lead negotiations on complex telecommunications, connectivity and network infrastructure agreements
* Support strategic customer relationships, including hyperscalers, multinational technology companies and international carriers
* Draft and negotiate supplier agreements covering network services, software, hardware and procurement arrangements
* Advise senior stakeholders on contractual risk, commercial strategy and dispute management
* Support network deployment projects, including construction, engineering, real estate and wayleave arrangements
* Manage external counsel across multiple European jurisdictions
* Support strategic business initiatives, corporate projects and acquisitions when required
* Contribute to the development of legal processes, contract standards and risk management frameworks
* Provide guidance on telecommunications regulatory and compliance matters
* Mentor junior members of the legal team and support legal project management
About you
* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
* Approximately 6-10 years' PQE
* Strong experience negotiating complex commercial contracts in-house or within a leading law firm
* Experience working with technology, telecommunications, digital infrastructure or network services businesses
* Comfortable leading negotiations with sophisticated multinational customers and strategic suppliers
* Able to operate independently and manage multiple business-critical matters simultaneously
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation
* Experience supporting infrastructure, construction or network deployment projects would be advantageous
