Role: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)

An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Barking & Dagenham is seeking a motivated and experienced HLTA to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is confident in leading lessons, supporting pupils, and making a positive impact on students’ learning and development.
Role Highlights:
* Full-time position at a supportive and well-resourced primary school
* Lead whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher
* Provide small-group interventions and tailored learning support
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
* Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to support students with additional needs
* Help create an inclusive and positive classroom environment
* Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
Experience & Qualifications:
* HLTA qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting
* Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
* A passion for education and supporting children’s progress
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
