Brand Manager – Optical/Ophthalmology
UK-Based | Hybrid Working
East or West Midlands (2 days per week in office - with flexibility)
Up to £55,000 + Benefits
Candidates MUST have 4–5 years’ Brand Manager / Product Manager experience within the Optical/Ophthalmology, UK medical device or Healthcare market.
We are exclusively partnering with a leading medical device organisation within the Ophthalmology and Optometry space to appoint a Brand Manager, supporting the continued growth and development of their UK portfolio.
This is a highly strategic yet hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to take full ownership of a product portfolio and play a key role in shaping brand direction, market positioning, and. commercial success.
The Role
As Brand Manager, you will take ownership of a defined portfolio of ophthalmic, diagnostic and surgical products, driving brand strategy and ensuring strong commercial performance across both NHS and private healthcare settings.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing strategic brand plans aligned to wider commercial objectives
• Owning the full product lifecycle, from launch through to growth and optimisation
• Supporting the sales team with compelling marketing tools, value messaging and campaigns
• Working closely with clinical stakeholders, KOLs and internal teams to shape product positioning
• Analysing market dynamics, competitor activity and customer insights to inform strategy
• Driving brand awareness, adoption and market penetration across key UK accounts
What We’re Looking For
• 4–5 years’ experience in Brand or Product Management within medical devices
• Strong understanding of UK healthcare markets (NHS and private)
• Ideally exposure to ophthalmology, optometry or vision care products
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting product launches and driving market adoption
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
