Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for young children. This role is pivotal in supporting the development of children in their formative years, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The candidate will support classes within the Early Years including Reception and Pre School.
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
* Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
* Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive environment for all children.
* Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that meet the needs of all children.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Requirements
* Proven experience in childcare or early years education is essential.
* Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering positive relationships with children.
* Leadership qualities to inspire and guide fellow team members.
* A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are highly desirable.
