Category Audit Closing Date 4 May 2026 Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will play a key role within the audit team, delivering risk-based audits, value-add advisory work, and risk management reviews. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing and well-established Internal Audit team where you will also help drive wider innovation projects to support the team’s long-term strategy including enhanced data analytics and AI, all with a significant focus on continuing to build your personal and professional development. This position offers a great opportunity to support the business during a period of transformation, working closely with a range of functions through effective business partnering, with the potential to rotate into the wider Asda Finance team in the future. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, risk-based internal audits across the business and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure remediation plans are completed on a timely basis Support advisory engagements and provide insights that add value Conduct risk management reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation Collaborate with team members to support business objectives during a period of change About You 2–3 years’ relevant experience in internal or external audit, or finance, within either a commercial environment or accountancy practice Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and a naturally analytical mindset Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn and develop Part-qualified or fully qualified in a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) Everything you'll love To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices.
