Pulse Structural Monitoring, part of Acteon Group, is a market leader in subsea structural monitoring, providing sophisticated systems and services to oil & gas and renewables clients worldwide since 1998. We are expanding and seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to lead operational transformation initiatives at our Wokingham facility.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager will focus on identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and implementing change strategies to boost productivity and operational output. The role involves working closely with leadership and teams to drive continuous improvement, oversee system production supporting project delivery, and ensure effective resource management.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess department workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
* Develop and execute change management strategies to enhance operational effectiveness.
* Collaborate with leaders to align process improvements with business goals.
* Lead cross-functional teams in change initiatives and measure success via KPIs.
* Facilitate workshops and training to promote adoption of new processes.
* Use data insights for decision-making and ongoing improvements.
* Manage resistance to change and ensure initiatives align with company culture.
* Oversee production systems to support efficient project delivery.
* Identify automation opportunities to streamline project processes.
* Lead and develop teams across production, purchasing, warehouse, and maintenance.
* Support operational excellence through continuous improvement activities and lean methodologies.
* Manage production planning and execution of structural monitoring projects, optimizing manufacturing processes.
* Drive supply chain relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely, quality material delivery.
* Mentor teams and foster a collaborative culture.
Minimum Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in change management, process improvement, or operational efficiency roles.
* Knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Lean, Six Sigma).
* Proven success leading change initiatives in complex environments.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Proficiency with data analysis tools and project management software.
Preferred Qualifications
* Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP, Lean Six Sigma).
* Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
