Document Controller – ISO & IMS Focus Location: Northwich Sector: Energy / Infrastructure / Industrial Services Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent A leading engineering and industrial services organisation is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support the ongoing development and management of their Integrated Management System (IMS). This role plays a critical part in maintaining ISO accreditations and ensuring the consistency, accuracy and compliance of business-critical documentation. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain all business documentation, ensuring accessibility and appropriate storage (digital and physical). Lead and maintain document control processes and systems to ensure consistency across procedural development. Ensure documentation is current, compliant with company and regulatory standards. Liaise with multiple departments to manage review and approval cycles for new and revised documents. Support audit preparation, documentation reviews and continuous improvement aligned with ISO standards. Deliver training and guidance on document control practices across the business. Track and report on document control performance and ensure alignment with business KPIs. Candidate Profile: Proven experience in a Document Controller, Quality Administrator or Project Support role, ideally within energy, infrastructure or related industrial sectors. Demonstrable involvement in achieving or maintaining ISO certification, particularly ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001. High level of attention to detail and document accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint (or equivalent EDMS). Strong time management, organisational and interpersonal skills. Confident communicating with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership. Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to wider QHSE or Business Services functions. Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Business Administration, Information Management or a relevant discipline (or equivalent practical experience). 3 years of experience in document control or quality-related roles. Exposure to change and stakeholder management initiatives. Experience coordinating audit processes and leading document reviews.
