We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join our vibrant secondary school in Darwen, Lancashire, from January 2026. Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and creative music lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Inspire students of all abilities to develop a love for music and performance
* Contribute to the school’s thriving extracurricular programme, including concerts, ensembles, and productions
* Work collaboratively within a passionate and dedicated department
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Music
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate and challenge students
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to enriching the wider school community through music

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
