Domestic Considerations: up to 60 RSDs per year. Army Reserve post, some travel and overnight duty may be required. Additional days available by application. Responsibilities: 1. Plan and co-ordinate Sqn-level training and Sqn social activities. 2. Undertake Sqn training assurance monitoring for unit weekend training in accordance with requirement identified by XO. 3. Coordinate all company MS matters and provide initial QC for the OC. 4. With particular focus on the Sqn’s RESPO, SSEOC and Junior Officer cohorts, continue a programme to provide military capability focussed mentoring, coaching and professional education support for Sqn Officers, shaping a cohesive plan for delivery. 5. As Reserve lead, deliver Sqn wide EC assurance and audit support in preparation for Unit LEA inspections in conjunction with the QM as Regtl governance lead. 6. Advise OC on matters relating to civic, livery and county links. 7. Assume command of the Sqn and deputise in the OC’s absence as required. 8. Assist the OC and the PSAO in the development of the Sqn policy, plans, and directives. 9. Sqn focus for leadership training and CPD for all ranks 10. Identify and undertake any additional tasks that are required to support A Sqn QOY’s mission.
