We work with a wide range of businesses —including internationally recognised healthcare brands, clinical trial manufacturers, CMOs/CDMOs and specialist contract packers.
We are investing in commercial growth and are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to expand our customer portfolio
🔹 The Opportunity
You will lead new business development, representing Toolrite attending customer sites and industry events, and contribute directly to company strategy at board level.
This role offers the autonomy of a business development lead with the influence of a senior commercial manager.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Win new business across Pharmaceutical, nutraceutical & VMS manufacturing environments, including Pharmaceutical manufacturers, CMOs/CDMOs, contract packers and clinical trial centres.
* Build and manage strong customer relationships with key decision makers
* Deliver technical product presentations and on-site consultancy
* Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and manage commercial agreements
* Provide customer-informed insight to support product development
* Attend trade shows and customer visits across the UK and internationally
* Develop and maintain a digital marketing platform and prescence
* Report growth progress directly to the board
🔹 About You
* Proven success in B2B technical sales within engineering, tooling or OEM supply
* Able to translate engineered products into commercial value for clients
* Confident communicator and negotiator with a proactive drive to close opportunities
* Self-led, well-organised and motivated by strong commission incentives
* Travel when required
