THE ROLE
Audit Assistant Manager – Isle of Ireland
You will have technical knowledge and an ability to use this to deliver client assignments from planning to completion. Demonstrating key people management skills including delegation, motivation and support. You will also build strong professional relationships, and using your own business network, you will support the growth initiatives of the firm.
You will be at the top end of business, where you're recognised for the impact you make and your ability to network and build lasting relationships. It makes life here exciting, fast-paced – and incredibly rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the management and development of a portfolio of clients and provide assistance to colleagues within the firm.
* Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Ensure compliance with the firm’s quality control procedures and professional standards.
* Provide efficient and proactive service to clients.
* Participate in tenders and proposals for new work.
* Develop work from existing clients and participate in marketing and business development activities.
* Focus on self-development and continuing professional education.
* Consult with colleagues and Partners on technical and risk matters.
* Work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Experience and Skill Set Required
* Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience.
* Experience managing and developing a client portfolio.
* Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues.
Required Qualifications
* A professional accountancy qualification – ACA/ACCA or equivalent, newly qualified or part-qualified considered.
Required Attributes
* Excellent social skills and confidence with clients.
* Ability to overcome challenges and maintain strong business relationships.
* Attention to detail, numeracy skills, and adherence to processes within legislative guidelines.
* Ambition and a strong desire to succeed.
* Integrity and authenticity.
