Our client is seeking an experienced Project Quality Engineer to support the delivery of a major onshore HVDC transmission project under an EPC framework. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all project phases—from engineering through to commissioning—meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and project-specific quality procedures in line with EPC contractual requirements
2. Oversee quality assurance and control across converter stations, HV equipment, civil works, mechanical installations, and HVDC control & protection systems
3. Ensure compliance with project specifications, EPC standards, and relevant IEC/EN regulations
4. Conduct audits of suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards across manufacturing and site activities
5. Lead the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, including investigation, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and closure
