Job Description
What you will be doing:
1. Account manage an allocated portfolio undertaking complete account management responsibilities for maintaining, servicing & developing the accounts, growing revenue and tracking production.
2. Responsible for the sales and management of all leisure group bookings of 7 rooms or more. This also includes the management of FIT group blocks relating to inventory,
3. Manage Group payments, cancellations, rooming lists and terms and conditions.
4. Build rapport with our key clients in order to ascertain their requirements and identify further opportunities for future business
5. Ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures with full and clear information and inputted correctly and promptly
6. Organize and implement administrative systems & procedures, and perform necessary support duties
7. Prepare and maintain your department's records
8. To meet agreed monthly performance targets – appointments, account management calls, client appointments & revenue targets as set by your line manager
9. Other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
11. Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests
12. Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
13. Competency using a variety of computer softwares
14. Knowledge of Opera system
15. Previous administrative experience in a similar role preferred
16. Strong administrative skills required
