Excellent Paralegal Role, Belfast
I am pleased to promote an incredibly unique opportunity for a Paralegal. This is an opportunity to grasp and develop an expertise in one of legal world’s most contentious and fast-moving areas of law. Our client has an outstanding Data and Cyber team and collaborates with many national and global clients. You will join the team at an exciting time of growth and access potential progression opportunities.
As part of your role, you will advise on a range of privacy matters, data issues, and cyber-matters. You will support many large employer clients with a variety of workplace matters and advise clients on developing sound business and policy infrastructure. This will include onboarding and compliance checking procedures, FOI requests, privacy notices, AI management, data access subject requests (DSARs).
The team also supports clients to pre-empt, manage and overcome highly challenging brand-threatening issues such as GDPR, data breaches, cyber-attacks, etc.
You will work across varying law departments which offers a variety to the work and type of clients.
The candidate
The candidate:
Ideally, you will offer at least 6 months experience in this field, but more experience is an advantage. Alternatively, you will very keen to commence your paralegal career and demonstrate a strong interest in this area of law.
It will suit someone with the right personality, offering an eagerness to learn, develop in the team, impressive analytical ability, and critical thinking. Also, a willingness to take ownership and work with autonomy while a good problem-solver is beneficial.
You will operate in a positive working culture but also be able to work with a range of active workstreams. You must therefore offer strong organizational skills and work with clients.
