Location: Craigellachie, Speyside
Salary: £30,000 + shift allowance + gratuities
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Join one of Scotland's most prestigious hospitality settings — The Macallan Estate Restaurant — developed in partnership with the internationally acclaimed Roca Brothers of El Celler de Can Roca.
We are currently recruiting for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our client's team. This is a rare opportunity to work at a destination restaurant set within one of the most iconic whisky estates in the world.
About the Role:
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen to the highest standard. You will be expected to contribute to menu development, support junior team members, and maintain exceptional levels of consistency and quality in every dish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the preparation and service of your section
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
* Work closely with senior chefs to ensure menu consistency and creativity
* Mentor and support Commis and Demi-Chefs in their development
What We Offer:
* Base salary of £30,000 per annum
* 10% non-standard working hours shift allowance
* Share of gratuities
* 37 days annual leave
* Closed over Christmas and New Year
* 4 additional paid days per year for volunteering or charity work

About You:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a high-quality, fine-dining environment
* A genuine passion for food, provenance, and innovation
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
* Ability to thrive in a collaborative and high-performing team
* Must be able to travel to the estate by car (no public transport access)
