Be part of a brand-new healthcare facility
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused cleaner to join our new private medical clinic in Altrincham, which includes two fully equipped surgical theatres. This is a solo role, giving you full responsibility for maintaining sterile and compliant environments from day one. Your work will ensure the clinic meets all Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. Compliance, audit trails, accurate documentation, and knowledge of the NPSA-recommended color-coded cleaning system are essential.
What you'll do:
* Clean and sterilise surgical theatres, consultation rooms, reception areas, waiting rooms, and staff facilities.
* Follow strict infection control protocols, including clinical waste handling and theatre sterilisation procedures.
* Apply the color-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination between theatres, high-risk clinical areas, and general areas.
* Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, audits, and compliance checks.
* Use cleaning products safely in accordance with COSHH regulations.
* Report hazards, maintenance issues, and compliance concerns promptly.
What we're looking for:
* Previous cleaning experience in a CQC-regulated healthcare setting (essential).
* Relevant cleaning insurance and valid cleaning-related certificates (essential).
* Strong understanding of compliance, audit documentation, and color-coded cleaning protocols.
* Experience cleaning surgical or clinical theatre environments (highly desirable).
* Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Reliability and good timekeeping.
* Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check ( Essential)
