Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am to 5pm, Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm on rota basis
Salary: up to £42,600 OTE (including £32,000 - £34,000 basic, bonus of £6,600 plus extra £2,000 for EV qualification)
Stockport Renault is recruiting for a MOT Tester / Service Technician to join our fantastic workshop. While working alongside our other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role, carrying out vehicle health checks and MOTs using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and carrying out any additional repairs

Our technicians play a vital role within our Service team by delivering first class customer service every time. We want you to be part of our success. If you’re a NVQ level 3 qualified Technician with additional certificates, including MOT testing or EV qualified, whether you work in a dealer group or independent garage we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
1. Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
2. Conducting MOT's in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests
3. Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
4. Taking the customers vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
5. Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a mechanic. You'll be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, while being able to work to the highest standards. You will require a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Having previous experience of working with brand would be advantageous, although not essential as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
