We are recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team to operate a planned, preventative and safe maintenance service on all equipment on our site. Role Responsible for corrective, planned and preventative maintenance tasks of production plant to minimize downtime. Carry out predictive maintenance tasks and report on findings. Maintain and implement planned maintenance schedules and routines for all equipment. Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation. Ordering plant parts as and when required. Manage maintenance Contractors onsite, to ensure they comply with Health & Safety and environmental regulations. Maintain a tidy and secure work environment. Provide regular information to assist management with decision-making Maintain files and administration as required, to comply with office processes and procedures Ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the maintenance department Person Minimum 3 years experience in plant maintenance preferably with a heavy industry/engineering background Hands on approach preferably with welding experience Capable of troubleshooting mechanical downtime issues & resolve to root cause. Experience of a wide range of production plant. Experience in maintenance task planning, scheduling and recording Experience in electrical diagnostics/installs desirable Flexible attitude to work and be adaptable enough to respond to changing circumstances and business requirements. Willing to undertake such professional, organisational and administration duties in the most efficient and cost-effective way as required within the maintenance department Capable of undertaking and/or assisting with mechanical tasks.
