AMLR Manufacturing & Engineering are working with one of the UK’s leading aerospace engineering manufacturers who are looking for an experienced CNC Miller Turner to join their high-performing team in Basildon.

Key Responsibilities
* Set, operate, and adjust CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components.
* Program and edit CNC cycles to achieve maximum accuracy and efficiency.
* Perform first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
* Identify and resolve any machining issues to maintain high-quality output.
* Complete all required documentation for quality assurance and traceability.
* Work closely with the production team to ensure workflow efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in both CNC milling and turning (setting & operating).
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
* Strong understanding of tight tolerances and precision machining.
* Skilled in using inspection tools and measuring equipment.
* Experience with Mazak, Fanuc, or sliding head machines is highly desirable.
* A recognized engineering apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent qualification.
