Overview
Retail Security Officer role at Argenbright Security Europe Limited - ASEL. ASEL designs, develops and delivers bespoke and integrated security solutions, combining people, technology and processes to achieve risk-reduction and value for clients. Main Responsibilities
* Provide visible deterrence on the shop floor and respond to incidents as required
* Complete incident reports and collaborate with local authorities
* Carry out guarding duties in store and manage guarding responsibilities
* Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity
* Assess vulnerabilities and proactively minimise risk
* Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable
* Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress
* Conduct colleague and contractor searches in line with customer policy
* Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily planning
* Provide detailed and legible incident reporting to support the Client and Local Authorities
Location, Hours & Rate
Location: Aberdeen Hutcheon
Hours: 48 hrs
Shift Pattern: Mon 16:00 - 22:00, Wed, Fri, Sun 08:00 - 22:00 (breaks are unpaid)
Hourly Rate: £12.60
The Person
To be an effective Security Officer, you will need to be a confident communicator, able to provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. You should be welcoming and patient with customers and able to handle conflict professionally.
Required Experience & Qualification
You must have a valid SIA licence to apply. Previous experience in a Retail Security role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
