Job Description
Payroll
3. Run monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll, including salary, bonus, deductions, pensions, and statutory adjustments.
4. Collaborate with the People Team and Director of Finance to review monthly amendments and obtain approvals.
5. Process employee payroll payments through NatWest and Royal London for pensions and salary sacrifices.
6. Produce month-end payroll reports, set up PAYE payments to HMRC, and generate P60s at year-end.
7. Prepare and manage bonus estimates and final bonus statements, including bonus sacrifice payments.
Finance
8. Collate weekly timesheet information, update utilisation spreadsheets, and submit to supplier portals.
9. Track outstanding purchase orders and overdue invoices.
10. Raise monthly invoices, process receipts, and reconcile.
11. Process consultant weekly expense claims
12. Manage purchase ledger: record supplier invoices, approve, and prepare payment runs.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll and Finance Assistant should have:

14. Proficiency in payroll systems and financial software.
15. A thorough understanding of payroll legislation and accounting principles.
16. Strong communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
17. Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
