Financial Services Tax & Law - Global Compliance & Reporting - Corporate Tax Senior - Edinburgh
Join EY's Financial Services (FS) Tax practice as a Senior Advisor, helping clients navigate complex tax environments. You will manage relationships with key local and national clients, delivering services and connecting them with specialists as needed.
You will assist clients in understanding tax implications of political, regulatory, accounting, and legal changes, developing sustainable strategies. While focusing on tax compliance and reporting for Real Estate sector clients, you'll also engage in advisory and transactional work.
The opportunity
EY aims to expand in national markets, including Edinburgh, and grow our high-performing teams. Working in our FS Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team, you'll strengthen client relationships locally and contribute to national accounts.
The team has grown rapidly to 120 members, creating demand for specialized local tax expertise. To qualify for the role, you must have
* Experience in corporate tax compliance within a large firm, HMRC, or in-house team
* Qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CTA, or equivalent knowledge (e.g., law qualification)
* Graduate-level education or equivalent experience
Ideally, you will also have
* Project management experience
* Experience in Real Estate tax compliance, especially REITs
