About the job
This role supports the Contract Manager for Property Compliance in ensuring customer safety across various building safety areas, including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, lifts, radon, and water systems. You’ll manage inspections, maintenance, and remedial works, oversee projects and budgets, and provide technical advice to ensure legal compliance and high standards.
You’ll be responsible for managing specialist contracts, supporting water risk and inspection programmes, specifying repairs, developing planned works, and ensuring timely access to homes. The role also involves engaging with customers, preparing guidance, and monitoring compliance.
We’re looking for someone who ideally holds a minimum of Level 3 ONC/HNC in construction, NEBOSH Certificate or similar property-related qualification, ideally with experience in health and safety. Candidates who have or are willing to study to obtain the Legionella (L8) Responsible Person qualification—training will be provided if required—contractor and project management, and budget control are essential. Strong IT and communication skills are also required, along with a full driving licence.
You’ll report to the Contracts Manager – Property Compliance and work closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners. Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work is required. A basic DBS check and a full driving licence are necessary for this role.
