We are seeking a dedicated and skilled chef to join our culinary team at the Holiday Inn London Luton Airport.
The ideal candidate will be practical, efficient, and capable of maintaining high standards independently, without the need for a large brigade.
Role Overview: The Chef will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. This position plays a crucial role in delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure all food preparation adheres to quality standards, presentation, and consistency.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to support seamless operations.
Enforce food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
Train and mentor kitchen team members to uphold high performance standards.
Assist in managing kitchen budgets and minimizing wastage.
Support opening, closing, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any food quality concerns professionally.
Comply with the hotel’s allergy management procedures and health & safety policies.
