We are currently supporting a leading National housebuilder who are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team, they are heavily investing in the next generation of Site Managers and with a busy pipeline of new sites this is the perfect time to join.
About the role of Assistant Site Manager
As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll be working alongside the Site Manager to help drive the successful delivery of a large multi-phased development. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in all phases of construction from groundworks to handover, managing trades, maintaining build standards, and help ensure each home meets or exceeds NHBC expectations.
Your focus will be on:
Keeping the build programme on track and supporting weekly progress targets
Ensuring every stage of construction meets NHBC standards
Upholding strong H&S compliance across the site
Maintaining accurate documentation, audits and daily reporting
Supporting pre-inspections, CML preparation and handover standards
Coordinating trades to ensure a smooth efficient workflow
Supporting the delivery of key KPI's
Being a visible point of contact for subcontractors and internal teams
About you:
Proven experience within a national / regional housebuilder
Excellent communications skills / build good relationships on site
Understand NHBC / LABC standards
the ability to think ahead, plan well and stay organised especially in busy build phases
CSCS, SMSTS and 1st aid
Be driven to progress your career
Care about quality and consistency across every build stage
