SEN Teaching Assistants – Longfield
We are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools in the Longfield area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.
The Role
The successful candidates will be supporting children on a 1:1 basis or within small group settings, either in a specialist SEN school or as part of a mainstream school’s SEN provision. You will work closely with teaching staff and SENCOs to provide tailored support for children with a range of needs including:
1. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
2. Challenging behaviours
3. Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Candidate Requirements
4. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one)
5. Experience supporting pupils across all primary key stages
6. A genuine passion for working with children and a nurturing, patient approach
7. Punctual, dependable, and professional at all times
