Aggregates Production Supervisor – Masters Quarry Competitive Salary | Heidelberg Materials About the Role We are looking for a proactive Aggregates Production Supervisor to join our team at Masters Quarry. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the site. Purpose of the Role To maintain high standards of Health & Safety, oversee production activities, and manage contractors on site while supporting operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and company Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems. Lead by example in promoting safe working practices and use of protective equipment. Oversee contractor activities, including inspections and adherence to method statements. Support quality assurance processes to deliver materials that meet customer specifications. Assist with stock returns, production analysis, and maintenance records to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain strong communication with staff, customers, and stakeholders to uphold service standards. To assist in purchasing spares, materials and services as required for effective running of the operation at the most cost-effective price possible To assist the Site Manager in the completion of Period End Profit Estimations by the compilation of stock returns, production & breakdown analysis, written summary, expenditure database. Provision of above information to be in electronic form as appropriate To compile accurate maintenance records and ensure that servicing and repairs are carried out as programmed by the Site Manger To maintain good working relationships and communication between the management and employees and notify the Site Manager if problems are developing To liaise and discuss with the Site Manager any training requirements for the staff under your control and to ensure that all new employees have received the induction training and appropriate specialised training where relevant What We’re Looking For Strong leadership and organisational skills. Commitment to Health & Safety and quality standards. Ability to manage contractors and maintain compliance. Experience in quarry operations or similar heavy industry is desirable. To hold the appointment under Section 8 (1) (d) of the Quarries Regulations 1999 You will be expected to complete the NVQ 4 Health & safety and Environmental Management in Quarries once in post if you do not currently possess the qualification Why Join Us?
