Job Title: Commercial Trainer & Content Developer Location: UK- Homebased About the Role: This is an exciting newly created position within BSI’s Group Commercial Team, designed to strengthen our Global Sales Training through the Sales Academy. As a Trainer & Content Developer, you will play a key role in creating and delivering high-quality learning experiences that equip our sales, marketing, and operations teams with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Working closely with internal colleagues, external vendors, and subject matter experts, you will design engaging learning content across multiple formats — from e-learning modules to instructor-led sessions, virtual training, and blended programmes. You will also support the development, integration, and alignment of the Global Sales Academy’s programmes, ensuring they are consistent, impactful, and accessible for our global sales community. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programmes for sales, marketing, and operations colleagues, with a focus on CRM systems (Salesforce, Pardot, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, D&B). Build interactive e-learning content, simulations, videos, and scenarios that support adoption of best practices and enhance sales performance. Partner with SMEs, stakeholders, and global teams to identify training needs and deliver tailored solutions. Ensure training materials are aligned with BSI’s global standards, accessible to diverse audiences, and regularly updated. Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality outcomes on time. Measure training effectiveness (completion, feedback, ROI) and adapt content to drive continuous improvement. Liaise with external vendors providing learning solutions and systems, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and value delivery. Support evaluation of sales team skills and knowledge, recommending interventions to improve new business development and solution selling. To Be Successful in the Role Experience in instructional design, eLearning authoring, and creating engaging online content. Skilled with tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Synthesia, or Adobe Captivate, and working with LMS systems. Experience delivering training 1:1, in small groups, and classrooms of up to 20. Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems to support sales effectiveness. Experience working with colleagues from diverse cultures in central, head office, or matrix environments. Strong project management, communication, influencing, and stakeholder relationship skills. Creative, detail-oriented, resilient, and passionate about driving learning adoption.
