In this multi-skilled role, you’ll have the chance to be part of a dynamic maintenance team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton. Here’s what you can expect:
* Provide engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment.
* Work with cutting-edge technologies, including automated equipment, robots, and complex tooling.
* Receive top-notch training, including Siemens, Kuka, and ABB Robotics Training.
* Contribute to the production of Battery Packs, Electric Drive Units, and other electrification machinery.
What to Expect
As a vital member of the Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Being the first response to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime through safe working practices.
* Conducting PM checks and running checks, ensuring completion on schedule.
* Implementing permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
* Carrying out weekend/shutdown work and delivering projects as needed.
* Embracing training opportunities as required by the business.
What You'll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering.
* Significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with CNC Machining Centres and systems, including conveyor systems and machining aluminum or steel.
* A solid understanding of Siemens PLCs and electrical fault-finding techniques.
