Description
We are looking for caring practitioner with energy and enthusiasm together with understanding of Early Years requirements. You need to be able to plan, organise and deliver a holistic range of services to children and their families and work alongside them to encourage them to play with their children.
Job Purpose
: YMCA East Surrey is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner with energy and motivation to plan, lead and deliver targeted play opportunities and support groups for children 0 up to 18 years and their parents at YMCA Mole Valley Family centre and other areas.
Hours of work
:
15 hours per week – 9:00 – 17:00 over two days or 5 hours per day over three days (with half hour lunch break included) – to be discussed.
Ideally with flexibility to work on additional days by negotiation and to be available for occasional out of hours work according to needs of families (evening and weekends).
Salary:
£14.33 per hour, for part time £11,177.40, FTE £26,080.6
Location:
YMCA Mole Valley Family Centre, Goodwyns Road, Dorking, RH4 2LR.
Annual leave:
Five weeks plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time workers) Holidays increase after two years' service to a maximum of six weeks after six years' service. (pro-rata for part time workers)
The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
