The Role
Project Finance Officer.
Reporting to the Management Accountant supporting the Projects Teams with their day-to-day activities and helping them achieve business objectives whilst ensuring the integrity of the financial data and ensuring that the risk and rewards are clearly presented and understood.
Responsibilities
1. Weekly sales forecast data.
2. Monthly Contract Status Report.
3. Project cashflows forecasts - including agreement of payment plans with customer.
4. Variance analysis to budget.
5. Hedging of foreign payments.
6. Supporting of Customer invoicing.
7. Support in the preparation of quarterly estimate at completions (EAC) Inline with IFRS15 / FRS.
8. Tracking of Variation of Price (VoP) indices and annual invoicing.
9. Support the preparation of annual budgets / 5-year plan.
10. Liaison with internal & external auditors on project queries.
11. Integrity of all Project finance data.
12. Involvement in bids and order intake to ensure the financial risk and rewards are clearly understood.
Requirements
13. Newly Qualified AAT or equivalent, preferably with a willingness to study towards CIMA or similar.
14. Have an awareness and experience in business related matters.
15. Strong Excel skills as job involve extensive work on spreadsheets.
16. Excellent communication abilities with a desire to liaise with all levels of stakeholders and the ability to communicate with non-Finance staff with a focus on business performance.
