About the Role
As a Client Manager, you will grow revenue from existing firms within a defined customer group, delivering or exceeding agreed financial targets through high-quality account management. You will build strong client relationships to support retention and growth and identify up‑sell or cross‑sell opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Managing and closing renewal opportunities with existing customers, ensuring timely follow‑up.
* Maintaining strong client relationships to support retention and growth and achieve or exceed targeted revenue for products.
* Identifying account issues, needs and demonstrating the business value of Lexis Nexis products.
* Ensuring customer experience meets agreed targets in terms of quality and frequency of contact.
* Adhering to planning, documentation, reporting and data recording in line with agreed methods and targets.
* Working with other internal departments including Marketing, Customer Success, and Strategy to feedback trends and shape go‑to‑market actions.
* Educating customers with thought leadership and expert market knowledge.
Requirements
* Results‑ and target‑driven with self‑motivation.
* Excellent communication skills, time management and planning.
* Ability to spot commercial opportunities, leveraging data and insight and proven sales methodology to close opportunities.
* Experience working within a B2B sales / customer service environment and retaining and growing customers.
* Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
