Vehicle Rental Manager Required, in Farnham:

Our client, a well-established Vehicle Rental Company based in Farnham, is actively recruiting for a Vehicle Rental Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join a thriving independent organisation, overseeing daily operations and contributing to its ongoing growth.

Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm, with alternate Saturdays required
Leadership position overseeing all branch activities

Oversee all daily branch operations including rentals, returns, reservations, and customer service
Manage, train, and recruit branch staff, embodying the leadership qualities expected of a Vehicle Rental Manager
Achieve sales targets, improve profit margins, and meet KPIs
Liaise with workshop staff to optimise fleet utilisation
Control costs and handle payments, taking responsibility for P&L
Maintain vehicle fleet, including conducting deliveries and collections
Address and resolve customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, UK regulations, and company policiesRequirements:
Proven experience in Vehicle Rental Management or a similar leadership role within the Motor Trade or Vehicle Hire Sector
Currently operating in a comparable position or as an assistant branch manager seeking career progression into a Vehicle Rental Manager role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Local personnel within approximately 20 miles of Farnham are preferred for stability and longevity
