Position Description:
The Apprentice HR Assistant will support the HR department in providing an efficient and streamlined service to the business with regard to all HR related administrative tasks. This role has a wide remit which includes input to all HR admin and is an important support role to the business.
Responsibilities to include:
* Assist with recruitment administration
* Process new starters/leavers
* Create induction packs,
* Collect reference requests
* Create and maintain personnel records, ensuring archiving of leavers and cleansing of information held is in line with the Data Protection act
* Weekly payroll
* Maintain attendance records and report discrepancies to HR Manager
* Maintain training records
* Follow all HR procedures
* Support the HR Manager with additional HR ad hoc administration dutiesMaintain management and employee confidence.
Position: Full Time with an immediate start
Hours of work: Mon- Thursday 9.00am -17.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 2.00pm
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Holidays: Full time - 25 days per year (Holiday year Jan – Dec) + 8 Bank holidays, Pro rata for part time.
Life Insurance: 3 times basic salary whilst in employment
Pension Scheme: Automatic enrolment if meet criteria, 5% Employee, 3% Employer. After 1 year in April – Age related up to max 6.5%.
