A leading UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee major industrial and large-scale commercial projects across the Basildon region. This senior leadership role is ideal for someone who has successfully delivered complex schemes from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role:
As Project Director, you will take full ownership of high-value industrial projects valued between £50m–£150m. You will drive project strategy, lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage clients and stakeholders, and ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of major industrial projects (£50m–£150m).
* Set project strategy, sequencing and governance from start to finish.
* Manage and mentor project teams to ensure consistent high performance.
* Drive excellence in safety, programme, quality and commercial outcomes.
* Act as the main client interface throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with all contractual, technical and regulatory requirements.
* Provide accurate and timely progress reporting to senior leadership.
* Support pre-construction, bid development and project planning activities.
