This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic, innovative and friendly team dedicated to improving our ward-based clinical pharmacy services. In this key post you will be working as part of an established multidisciplinary team and be responsible for providing a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to our Cardiology wards.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the development and delivery of clinical pharmacy services within Cardiology.
* Providing a safe, efficient and cost-effective pharmacy service to the Cardiology wards.
* Contributing to the management of junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working within the Cardiology service.
* Supporting and helping to deliver key performance targets within the Cardiology service, in particular those related to prescribing, optimising medicines and the turnaround times of discharge medicines.
Qualifications & Requirements
You will need excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills and will need to enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will need post-registration experience relevant to hospital pharmacy and will have the Post Graduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification.
