Role Description
Join Our Team as a Support Worker
Location:Shippon, Oxfordshire
Salary:£13.16 per hour (£25,662 per annum) plus benefits: paid induction;a paid sleep-in shift of £50,overtime paid over 37.5 contracted hours
Hours:7.00 am 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm 10.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support)
Contract:Full-time, Permanent
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.
Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

What will you be doing?

* Daily Care & Support:Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
* Building Relationships:Getting to know the person you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
* Empowering Independence:Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
* Social Engagement:Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
* Respect & Dignity:Ensuring that the individual and his family are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who you will be Supporting?
James*lives in a single occupancy home which is purposely adapted to meet his complex needs. He loves going out to buy things, walks, drives and sightseeing at the local lakes. When he is not out and about enjoying himself, he usually likes being at home playing with toys, solving puzzles and baking yummy treats. James also loves resting at home while watching TV and listening to music.
