Job Description
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including construction documents (e.g., NEC, JCT), with additional training and support available where needed
4. Providing legal advice on commercial agreements, procurement regulations, contractual disputes, and property litigation, with opportunities to deepen expertise in these areas
5. Developing a working understanding of the Company's regulatory framework and applying this knowledge in day-to-day legal work
6. Providing timely and accurate legal advice to internal teams across various departments
7. Communicating and negotiating with external parties, managing matters appropriate to level of experience and escalating where necessary
8. Supporting the Company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
9. Collaborating with stakeholders to address legal concerns while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
10. Applying effective risk management techniques and offering proactive advice on possible legal issues
11. Conducting work with integrity and responsibility's
12. Maintaining current knowledge of changes in legislation
13. Complying with the Company's policies in the carrying out of all duties
14. Meeting individual performance targets as set and agreed from year to year
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
15. UK/IRE Qualified with a minimum of at least 1-3 years PQE.
16. Broad Corporate/Commercial law background
17. Good understanding of Construction contracts (NEC & JCT)
18. Excellent client care and communication skills.
19. To be able to work autonomously and to produce high quality work.
20. Excellent time management skills with strong prioritisation skills and ability to effectively manage your own workload.

21. A salary of £65,000 to £70,000 per annum DOE
