About Our Client

Job Description
3. Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of construction documents (NEC, JCT) and commercial agreements and protect the company's legal rights.
4. Provide advice on procurement regulations, commercial disputes, property litigation and data protection.
5. Update the Company's standard suite of documents.
6. Provide legal advice to internal teams as and when requested
7. Collaborate with stakeholders, addressing their concerns while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
8. Ensure the company adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
9. Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to internal teams.
10. Mitigate legal risks associated with contracts and business operations.
11. Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
12. Have extensive knowledge of regulator and/or utility sector legal issues, gas industry related legislation and codes including relevant legislation's such as the Gas Act 1986 (and related regulations).
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
13. UK/IRE Qualified with a minimum of at least 1-2 years PQE.
14. Broad Corporate/Commercial law background
15. Good understanding of Construction contracts (NEC & JCT)
16. Excellent client care and communication skills.
17. To be able to work autonomously and to produce high quality work.
18. Excellent time management skills with strong prioritisation skills and ability to effectively manage your own workload.

19. A salary of £65,000 to £70,000 per annum DOE
