Summary of Role
The role involves supporting the delivery and growth of the British Plastics Federation's (BPF) events programme, including commercial and non-commercial events, webinars, parliamentary receptions, and other related activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist management in planning and delivering online and physical events such as BPF Energy events, the Annual Dinner, webinars, and receptions.
* Support in organising specific events like Meet the Toolmaker, Meet the Recycler, and the rotational moulders' event, along with ad hoc projects including international trips and outsourcing opportunities.
* Help identify and secure speakers, grow sponsorship and income streams, and meet income targets.
* Contribute to marketing efforts for events, including drafting press releases, managing social media, and creating marketing materials and email campaigns.
* Maintain and update event webpages and digital registration platforms to enhance user experience.
* Assist in managing event budgets and marketing the meeting room facilities at BPF House.
* Support the archiving and continual improvement of seminar and webinar content.
* Gather feedback from events to inform future improvements.
* Help organise face-to-face events outside BPF premises, including travel arrangements.
* Generate ideas for new events and innovate existing ones to ensure ongoing success.
