Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)

Pay Rate: £95 – £113 per day

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Doncaster. As a CS, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic settings and is keen to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
* Ensure pupils remain focused and engaged with their learning.
* Promote positive behaviour and maintain a calm classroom environment.
* Provide feedback to teachers regarding lesson progress and any issues.
* Support students with their learning where appropriate.
* Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
* Previous experience working with pupils is desirable.
* Confidence in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A flexible, proactive, and positive approach.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
