Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your ability to communicate effectively in English and your IT skills will be valuable as you assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, and mobility support.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment.
* Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting or similar role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and care plans.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
* Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the service users.
