Key Account Manager – Seating Division (Complete Seat JIT)
Based at our world class UK Headquarters in Coventry (hybrid / partial remote working patterns available), the candidate will look after seating projects for a prestigious OEM.
Main Responsibilities
* Commercial ownership of complete seat programs, negotiating series projects and contracts with customers from Buyer to Senior Management level.
* Customer relationship management – OEM Buyer / Purchase Manager / Lead Engineers / Piece Cost Engineers / Vendor Tooling Cost Engineers.
* Manage negotiation and closure of commercial issues with timely conclusion.
* Manage sales account with P&L responsibility, cost and pricing management and profitability ownership from project inception through to SOP.
* Deliver program(s) with committed financial metrics.
* Deliver engineering change quotations in line with agreed customer timeline.
* Report program commercial status to senior level.
* Follow up on aging debt and drive cash-in collection in line with forecast dates.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experienced automotive Tier 1 Account Manager – ideally with a background in complex, high value commodities.
* Highly developed commercial acumen, self‑starter, and willingness to take the lead.
* Experience tracking price changes and maintaining accurate records of changes including margin impacts.
* High level communication and organisational skills.
