You will be responsible for providing commercial legal advice related to business activities as well as reviewing and negotiating related contracts, primarily related to procurement activities. Agreements of focus include supplier Professional Services, Software as a Service, Software, Products and Events. What you will be doing: - Review and negotiate documents and review for compliance with CBRE's requirements and various statutory requirements. - Agreements of focus include supplier Professional Services, Software as a Service, Software, Products and Events. - Understanding of intellectual property ownership terms, deliverables, liability-related concerns, confidentiality provisions, privacy requirements (such as DPAs) and information security measures. - Provide legal counsel and guidance to managers, executives, and employees on legal aspects of various business lines. - Represent the company during contract negotiations. - Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. - Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. - Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. - Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. - Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. - Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
