We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association, who are looking to appoint two Homeownership Officers and one Assistant Homeownership Officers on permanent contracts.
These will be full-time positions.
The salary for the two Homeownership Officers will be £36,986.
The salary for the Assistant Homeownership Officer will be £26,835.
Two Homeownership Officers:
The ideal candidate will have experience of leasehold and shared ownership management as well as previous experience working within a Housing Association.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Managing a portfolio of freehold, leasehold and shared ownership properties
2. Representing the organisation at the First Tier Tribunal to defend leasehold challenges or present cases for tribunal determination
3. Supporting with Section 20 and QLTA consultations and the management of observations
4. Effectively Managing breaches of lease and taking relevant court action for forfeiture
Experience required:
5. Experience working in a Housing Association
6. Experience dealing with section 20 notices
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
7. The ability to deal with clients compassionately
8. Compliance and due diligence
Working hours:
9. 37 a week
10. Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
Assistant Homeownership Officer:
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
11. Preparing and issuing S20 and QLTA Consultation documents to homeowner customers across all regions and providing advice and training to colleagues where required
12. Managing and collating responses or observations to the consultation and responding within the agreed time frame
13. Acting as the first point of contact for Homecare, Asset and Procurement colleagues on major works programmes where a consultation is required
