A specialist SEN provision in Peterlee is recruiting for a Trainee Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils with SEMH and Autism needs.
The school provides a structured and therapeutic learning environment where pupils are supported to develop confidence, emotional regulation and positive engagement with education.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
* Assisting with classroom routines and learning activities
* Building positive relationships with vulnerable learners
* Encouraging engagement and emotional resilience
* Supporting restorative and positive behaviour approaches
Ideal candidates may come from:
* Youth work
* Residential care
* Sports coaching
* Support work
* Psychology or education backgrounds

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
